ReplyDeleteSo how does everyone feel after all the presentations have been presented?i know im a bit relieved.Anyway, Vicky's presentation...hmm...
I must say that Vicky's presentation was well executed.She had interesting visual aids and activities prepared for us.She managed to grab my attention and she made it clear of what the topic is all about.I like her presentation because it wasn't that difficult to understand
and she alerted us by asking questions.However there were some parts of the presentation like trying to figure out the different intonations that she had ask us to guess.Apart from that, i think she gave a lot of information as well, and i would like to say that the last part of the presentation which was the acting part that really got to me.I didnt realize that i could act in such way.Probably i should try out acting.However, i am a bit disturbed by my 'softy' acting as people will remember me as that!!
I think you carried the part pretty well Andy (Yes you should consider acting). Don't worry, your gentle side is only one aspect of you.
ReplyDeleteWell, first of all, I would like to say that Vicky presented very well actually... she presented her topic in a well prepared manner, so, definitely her presentation got an aim and it is to show the class about paralinguistic... Vicky really achieved her aim for the presentation from the very beginning as everybody already guessed the topic she was going to present at the very beginning. She did the presentation in a very creative by inviting “Mr. Duncan” to show the tone and pitch of a voice to speak English properly and also of course “Julia Roberts” into the classroom to perform a mute acting, while we figure out her part!!! So, in overall, there isn’t any boring part apart from the part of different intonation, where there were unknown terms… She really managed to hold the attention of the whole class because the video and activity she came up with was funny and funny things draw people’s attention… Yup, it was totally a learning experience because the presentation really helps to reflect back to the topic she presented more deeply… There were also short plays by four student of the class to show the peoples expression and body language… it was an awesome acting… student really got talents hidden deep inside them…
ReplyDeletevicky, good presentation, the way u deliver your speech is clear and excellent . very confident woman, and you are getting thinner, (thats not the point.. ) well your presentation is one of the best i ever heard. i loved it.. no further comments!
ReplyDeletei like vicky's presentation...she put alot of effort n she able 2 explain 2 all the questions...i really shocked when she ask us 2 act out...wow!gud job gal.
